Q. "Hypno" sounds really kooky. Am I under your control?
A. No, it is impossible for you to be under someone's control. There is nothing kooky about the classes. Hypnosis is actually used by many Medical Practices from Obstetrics to Dentistry and even Surgery. It is safe and actually really enjoyable. Feel free to call and discuss with us.
Q. Can I have a pain free drug free birth experience as HypnoBirthing suggests?
A. Yes, Mums who practice the techniques often have a little or no need for pain relief. Practice is the key and motivation to avoid drugs is a strong driver for many mums. Feedback (anecdotal evidence) from our Mums is that of great satisfaction with their birth experience. Many of the Mums have completely pain free births without drugs. Many women arrive at hospital 7-10cm dilated.
For women who for whatever reason have medical intervention they tell us they are really happy with the effort they put in to their pregnancy and birth experience.
Q. I am planning on being induced, my obstetrican has already discussed it with me. Can the course help me?
A. Yes, this course will provide you with knowledge and strategies to enable you to enjoy your induction and birth experience.
Q. I am having an elective caesarian, am I to be excluded from enjoying my birth?
A. You have every right to relax during your pregnancy and enjoy the benefits of preparation to really enjoy the day you meet your baby. Medical technology is brilliant and allows us to enhance an experience that may not be possible without it. Many mums have used HypnoBirthing for plannned and emergency caesars. A few Mums have commented on how calm they were about being taken to theatre and how alert their babies were.
Q. Is it possible to have private classes? I don't like groups.
A. Yes, private classes are by appointment in your home or in our consulting suites. They are a very positive way to learn the skills in privacy.
Q. I can't make the classes you are offering. What can I do?
A. We are here to help and if it is impossible for you to come to us we may be able to come to you , there is the option of Skype tuition or you can purchase the book, manual and Cd pack and learn at home using phone and email to ask questions of us.
